[Mediapen=Lee Dong-eun] LG Electronics' latest OLED TV was announced the ‘Best TV of 2019’ at this year’s HDTVTest Shootout in London. This year’s event was a bit more special as it was a blind test and the identities of TVs were disguised.

Around 40 experts gathered to evaluate TVs of LG, Panasonic, Samsung and Sony. Earning high marks in delivering black, accurate colors and gaming performance, LG C9 earned the top spot as best TV, best gaming TV and best HDR TV.

Without needing backlight illumination, LG screen’s pixel provide its own illumination to deliver perfect black and stunningly realistic images. C9 is also topped with LG’s advanced Alpha 9 Gen 2 Intelligent processor which uses artificial intelligence. It self optimizes both image and sound quality.

LG TV also received recognition from reputable groups across the world including UK-based Which?, French-based Que Choisir and Germany-based Stiftung Warentest.
