[Mediapen=Liz Jo]LG Electronics’ new LG UltraFine 5K display is now on sale. 

This new display is topped with both Thunderbolt 3 and USB Type-C port enabling high connectivity. It is now compatible with Apple’s Mac and iPad models.

LG has already introduced LG UltraFine 4K display on May. With their new 5K display, LG is expanding its high resolution display lineups. The company plans to further strengthen its lead in the fast growing premium display market.

The new 5K display features 27-inch 5120x2880 resolution, built-in speakers, webcam and mic. The users can easily use ‘Face Time’ through the camera installed on the monitor.

“LG UltraFine series was recognized for its outstanding performance and convenience.” said Jang Ik-hwan, head of LG’s IT business division. He added that the company will target the premium display market with LG UltraFine 4K·5K models now compatible with Apple.
